For my art class, all the seniors each get to paint a wall mural in the school. It can be any size on any wall and can be anything as long as it is school appropriate (obviously). I am having a really hard time coming up with ideas and I need three.
I am really good at people and landscape/outdoorsy stuff but I can draw pretty much anything. So, difficulty is not an issue.
We are the Prowlers, so I could do something with a panther but there are already a few from previous years (including the pink panther). So I'm not sure if I want to do that but if I did, it would have to be original.
So if anyone has ideas that would be great!! Thanks!!

Do you use a wet palette, and do you use glazing fluid to paint with?
I was told that water breaks down acrylic paint on paintings eventually, but if you mix glazing fluid into your paint, your paintings will last a lot longer.
I was also told I should go buy a wet palette. I only squeeze a small amount of paint out, so I don't waste much.
Do you use the wet palette for all your paintings, or just the large ones, or ones that you don't work on often?
I've never had formal art lessons, so I am in the dark with some painting tools. Can I live without getting one or both of these, or am I really missing something here?
