Apply 2 coats of satin or semi gloss finish paint. I use Benjamin Moore Super Spec. It's their pro line, but it's cheaper than Regal and covers great. It's also very durable, which is important with furniture. Pricewise, it's a few dollars more then Behr, but it blows Behr away with coverage and durability. Since you should be able to get 2 coats out of a gallon, it's worth the extra $8-10. Hope this helps.

what color should i paint the trim?
in a large sunroom (verandah). this is a space about 10 feet wide and 20 feet long. its built on to the front of my very old house. there are about 15 sash style windows all around on three sides and french doors going into the living room. the walls are currently painted a light mint green and the trim is grey. but i dont like the grey at all, it looks dingy and dirty. i thot about just using white, but maybe something a little more dramatic would liven it up a bit. the walls are beadboard wainscoting up to the bottom of the windows. ceiling and floor are wide strip hardwood currently painted grey also. i have natural colored rattan furniture in the room and a couple of large potted palms. any suggestions for color and/or accents and accessories? any help is appreciated. thanks, ive already gotten some great advice on here about other areas of my house.
ps: right now the windows are totally un-covered.
