Repair black oriental lacquer furniture: minor paint scratch?
I bought a black oriental credenza at eastate sale. The type with shinning black finish and a lot of orietal paintings on it. It is in good condition except some minor paint scrath on the legs. What would be the best way to repair it myself?

mom says permanent marker , a sharpie, color the scratch in, then wax that spot shiny again
