Paint Wine Glasses
Paint Wine Glasses

Approx. how much would it cost to get started painting/selling wine glasses?
I was thinking of starting my own "business" and I think painting wine glasses and other glassware items could be kind of easy. I'm not looking to do anything super fancy, just easy things, polka dots, initials, holiday themed, swirls, etc. Does anyone know how much all the supplies would cost? OR do you think anyone would even be interested?
I volunteer at a non-profit agency and we have a retail store that sells items that people donate. What we have a tremendous inventory of is glassware. It does not sell well. So go to your local thrift stores and buy your wine glasses there. You'll get nice ones for dirt cheap. I'm talking between ten cents and twenty-five cents each.
Your paints will cost from $2-$4 depending on the color. Use Air Dry PernEnamel paints because you don't have to bake the paint on. It's easier and cheaper in the long run. Here's some information for you.
